eBooks and screen readers
To use your preferred screen reader, instead of the screen reader provided by the eBook vendor, you will need a Digital Rights Management-free version of the book.
If the University Library owns a book needed for a class by a student who is registered with the DRC and that title is not preferred-screen-reader-accessible, the library will purchase a version of the book that will meet the student’s needs.
If the University Library does not own a book needed for a class by a student who is registered with the DRC, the student should work directly with the DRC for support options.
Order eBooks through this form - make sure you select that this is an ADA/DRC request. This will ensure that you are not erroneously directed back to the library’s owned copy of the title.
Proxy Borrowing
DRC-registered students may designate another person to borrow library materials on their behalf. Information on proxy borrowing, along with the proxy card application, can be found on the Patron Borrowing Categories page.
