The library has a large selection of materials in many formats, including print books, ebooks and streaming media.  See if UCSC already owns the item(s) you would like to order by using UC Library Search.

If the item you want isn't in the UCSC collection, try using UC Library Search to search the entire UC system and beyond.  Items owned within the UC system, and at many libraries worldwide, are available through Interlibrary Loan.

Please limit streaming video requests to films that are required for a UCSC class.  The library can only purchase films available to be licensed for institutional use.

Please include the name of the class and instructor, and date when access would first be needed for required viewing.  This will help ensure that the library is able to meet your class needs.

Please do not use the Kanopy form to request films. Doing so slows down the ordering process

Ebooks and streaming video will go directly into the library catalog.  Check in UC Library Search after a week.  If you sign into Library Search with your CruzID Gold password, you may save your search for this title by following the instructions for "Save a Search Query" on the library's Library Search guide.
