This library subject endowment was established by UCSC alumna Karoline A. Delaney, Crown College Class of 1987, in honor of her UCSC education in Chemistry and the outstanding faculty who inspired her, such as Professor Eugene Switkes and Pradip Mascharak.

The Karoline A. Delaney Chemistry Endowment shall provide enriched support for UCSC library collections through a wide range of library materials in Chemistry and related fields in all formats, including monographs, serials, reference sets, non-print media, electronic databases, and other information formats that may evolve in the future.
