Electronic Data Access Endowment

Established by the S.H. Cowell Foundation, Augmented by the Honeywell Foundation, 1992

The Electronic Data Access Endowment was established with the help of the S.H. Cowell Foundation, which has a long history of generosity to the UCSC campus, and of the Honeywell Foundation, which has strong business ties to the Santa Cruz community. Funds were given to enhance and enrich the beautiful Science Library, with its innovative S.H. Cowell room for electronic data access.

Remaining funds have been endowed to generate a continuing income stream to support equipment and electronic data and to maintain the library's ability to deliver "state-of-the-art" information service.
