Established by food educator Bruce Aidells to create and maintain a well-selected, practical cooking collection at the UCSC Library, building on a core collection enriched by gifts acquired with Bruce Aidells’s advice and assistance.  Income may be used to acquire books on cooking, eating, gastronomy, and the production of food and drink, as well as historical and cultural studies of these topics.
