The library wants to hear from you! Participate in a focus group and receive a $30 gift card

The library is hosting three focus groups to understand how we can improve sensory experiences in our library spaces. Undergraduate students who are supported by the Educational Opportunity Programs (EOP), the Disability Resource Center (DRC), or who are military-connected are eligible to participate. Participants will receive a $30 gift card.

The focus group sessions will be held on Tuesday, April 28th, Wednesday, April 29th, and Thursday, April 30th from 5:00pm - 6:30pm. Registration is required.

Land Acknowledgement

The land on which we gather is the unceded territory of the Awaswas-speaking Uypi Tribe. The Amah Mutsun Tribal Band, comprised of the descendants of indigenous people taken to missions Santa Cruz and San Juan Bautista during Spanish colonization of the Central Coast, is today working hard to restore traditional stewardship practices on these lands and heal from historical trauma.

The land acknowledgement used at UC Santa Cruz was developed in partnership with the Amah Mutsun Tribal Band Chairman and the Amah Mutsun Relearning Program at the UCSC Arboretum.
