This subject endowment was established by UC Santa Cruz Foundation Trustee Patricia Rebele and her husband Rowland, as a valued complement to their Endowed Chair in Art History. Patricia Rebele is an alumna of the Art History program, with a special interest in classical Western art, especially the Renaissance and Baroque periods. The endowment is particularly intended to enrich collections of various formats in these foundational sub-fields and expand the library’s collections in art history, with priority to needed materials in classical Western art.
