Serials/Electronic Resources and Database Management is the provision of prompt online access to information for use by UCSC faculty, students, and staff as well as batch processing and maintenance of bibliographic and management data in the library databases. Staff in this area is responsible for monitoring the availability of online access, procuring and maintaining such access for users as well as using batch processing to download records and global updates, ensuring that both bibliographic and management data are current and easy-to-use.
