Special Collections’ material does not circulate but may be paged for use within our Reading room. Advance notice is required for use of some material so that it can be retrieved from storage. To begin the request process, researchers should contact our Public Service Staff at firstname.lastname@example.org at least five business days in advance of visiting concerning the material they wish to use.
If you wish to request an item stored at NRLF please use our NRLF Request Form. Please wait for confirmation that the item or collection is available before visiting.
McHenry Library is located in the center of campus on Steinhart Road. Please be aware that there is limited public parking on campus and permits are required. Parking is strictly enforced.
Santa Cruz is located on the north of the Monterey Bay on the Central California coast. It is accessible from the San Francisco, San Jose, or Monterey airports. Route 1 and Highway 17 run to Santa Cruz. See Directions to UCSC Campus.
The campus is located at 1156 High Street. Santa Cruz, CA. 95064. It has two entrances. The Main Entrance is located off of Bay Street; the West Entrance is located off of Empire Grade. The information kiosk is available at the Main Entrance; temporary parking permits may be obtained at this kiosk.
