Bruce
Schumm - Professor, Physics
Selected: The
Blind Watchmaker by Richard Dawkins
It
may be odd for a physicist to select a book in the life sciences,
but Dawkins' rivetting presentation of Darwinian evolution had as
profound an effect on my perspective about life and living as any
book I've ever read. It also served as something of a template for
my own popular book on particle physics, which will be published
shortly by the Johns Hopkins University Press.
