Access Services Mission

The primary mission of Science & Engineering Library Access Services is to support UCSC and the broader communities that it serves in their pursuit of knowledge, understanding, and wisdom. To further this goal we:

PROVIDE consistently efficient, effective and courteous service;

SEEK innovative ideas and technologies to meet the diverse and changing needs of our patrons;

MAINTAIN a safe, clean facility that offers convenient access to the information within and beyond our walls;

FOSTER a work environment that encourages creativity, teamwork, and mutual respect.

These ongoing efforts reflect our pride in our work and our knowledge of its importance.
