Open Access Week is an annual international event promoting the idea that scholarly research should be freely and openly available. For Open Access Week 2010, the University Library is sponsoring an afternoon event where about a dozen faculty members representing each of the academic divisions will talk about the ways in which they are making their research, data and teaching resources freely accessible. Please join us, starting at 3:00 pm, for an opportunity to see how UCSC researchers across the disciplines are addressing open access publishing. You are welcome to stay as long as you like. Refreshments will be served.
