About Mosaic

McHenry Library is pleased to sponsor Mosaic: Intersections in the Humanities and Social Sciences. Established in 2006, this lecture series will highlight new faculty research and creative projects from the UC Santa Cruz campus community.

In 1964, Dean E. McHenry founded the University of California, Santa Cruz as a new college with a strong emphasis on innovation and progression in the liberal arts and humanities. The Mosaic lecture series supports McHenry’s original vision for the campus and features new work from UCSC’s outstanding faculty and community.
