Dear Cheryl,

Thank you so much for speaking at the Western Association of Map Libraries meeting earlier this month. Your presentation was wonderful! It was so interesting, and I was impressed with your skill as a speaker. I heard many comments afterward about how good the speakers were, and you were always one of the speakers specifically mentioned.

Your presentation was exactly the introduction the Monterey Bay area that I was looking for. It was great to see the conference attendees stand out on the patio of the Seymour Center later that afternoon, looking out across the bay, pointing out features they had heard about earlier.

I felt very proud to be able to show off our "home-grown talent", and let map librarians from all over the West know what great research institutions we have around the Monterey Bay. Thanks again for making our conference such a success!
