Wall Maps for the Give-Away

In order to make room for more highly used maps and study space, the University Library’s Map Room will be giving away wall maps that haven’t been used in over 10 years.  These are large maps on rods, intended to be hung on the wall for classroom use.   (We’re keeping those that have been used, as verified in the online library circulation system.)  We’re not giving away other items from the Map collection, such as aerial photos or local maps of Santa Cruz County.  These wall maps have been used most often by history faculty but usage has dropped off as classroom data projectors have become more commonplace.
