Getting from the
airport to Santa Cruz
Plan to take the Santa Cruz Airporter or rent a car. A taxi ride will
be too expensive.
Santa Cruz Airporter:
A shuttle bus service that will take you directly to your hotel, UCSC,
or the Seymour Center. They pick up from both San Francisco Airport
(SFO) and San Jose Airport (SJC). Reservations are necessary.

Directions to the Seymour
Marine Discovery Center at Long Marine Laboratory
All meetings
will be held at the Seymour Center.
Follow the directions to Santa Cruz. Continue
north on Mission Street through town. Turn left on Swift Street.
Turn right on Delaware Avenue. Follow Delaware to the Long Marine
Lab entrance at the end of the road.

Visiting the UC Santa Cruz campus
Directions to campus
Follow the directions to UC Santa Cruz. Follow
Mission three Stop lights to Bay Street-turn right on Bay and follow
it all the way to the entrance of the University. The main entrance
to campus is straight ahead and the West entrance will be a left-hand
turn at the four-way light. To purchase a parking permit, enter through
the main entrance.
Parking at UC Santa Cruz
Parking can be difficult to find at UC Santa Cruz. Plan to walk a
fair amount from your car. Map

Consider taking the bus to campus from your hotel or from the Seymour
Center.
Public Transportation in Santa Cruz
Santa Cruz has an excellent city bus system, the Metro
Santa Cruz. The fare is $1.00. See the Metro
Santa Cruz website for routes and other information. Note that
school will not be in session, so buses that are marked "ST"
for school term only will not be running.
