The British Library Map Collections are the nation's heritage
cartographic collection and one of the largest and most important map
collections in the world.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our small but dedicated team
as a specialist in antiquarian maps, with particular emphasis on
cataloguing and assisting in the selection of antiquarian items to add
to the collections. You will have a lively interest in working with and
researching into antiquarian cartographic materials, and experience of
work in a library, archives or commercial setting. You will have
knowledge of at least one European language (in addition to English),
and be degree level educated in history, geography or a related field.

The post involves line and matrix management, so you will have
successful personnel management experience.
