Mary Larsgaard Receives Nancy B. Olson Award
from OLAC (OnLine Audiovisual Catalogers)

On Saturday, June 23rd, 2007, Mary L. Larsggard of the Map & Imagery Laboratory at the University of California, Santa Barbara, was awarded the Nancy B. Olson Award by OLAC (OnLine Audiovisual Catalogers) for her contributions to the teaching of the cataloging of cartographic material.

The award was given at their membership meeting held during ALA's annual conference in Washington D.C. The annual Nancy B. Olson Award was named for the founder of OLAC and honors a librarian who has made significant contributions to the advancement and understanding of audiovisual cataloging.
