Multimedia: CD-ROM & DVD

  • The UCSC library is a depository for Federal and State publications, and receives CD-ROMs from many of their agencies. All CD-ROMs are listed in CRUZCAT, the library catalog.
  • CD-ROMs are located inside of the Gov Pubs CD Cabinet near the Reference desk on the 2nd Floor of McHenry Library. The CD-ROMs and DVDs in this cabinet are for library use only and can be used on any computer in the Information Commons on the 2nd Floor. Some CD-ROMs are issued with a publication (usually found inside the back cover). If the publication circulates, the CD-ROM also circulates and can be used on a home computer.
