Instructions for GeoRef and all other ProQuest Databases

  1. Select your references and click on 'Export/Save'.
  2. Select output to 'Export to' to 'RIS'.
  3. Click 'Continue'.
  4. Save the file and import into EndNote Web using RIS import filter 

Troubleshooting: 

  1. If the .RIF file does not download to computer, either the browser pop-up blocker must be turned off or an exception for ProQuest website added.
  2. If Zotero is used, disable Zotero or uncheck: Use Zotero for downloaded RIS/Refer files in General Preferences.
  3. You may need to manually correct references.
