Honored Faculty, Honored Books

In celebration of the bond between the written word and the achievement of scholars, the UCSC Libraries and the Jack Baskin School of Engineering are proud to sponsor the Honored Faculty, Honored Books Program. This new joint initiative recognizes the achievements of faculty in the school who have attained tenure and/or promotion. The occasion is marked by the celebration of both the scholar and a book they select as having most influenced them as a scientist and educator. Through Winter Quarter, these books, and essays by the faculty members who selected them, will be on exhibit in the Science Library foyer.
