Curators
Randall Jarrell, Wendy Lees McMullen, Ken Lyons, Beth Remak-Honnef, and Irene
Reti assembled books and materials highlighting the library's extensive holdings
in Islamic architecture, music, decorative arts, book arts, calligraphy, textiles,
and science.
There was a listening station with a selection of musical styles and genres
from throughout the Islamic world, and a display of musical instruments as well.
The exhibit was enhanced by an array of textiles, jewelry, and weavings from
Central Asia.
