The Library acquires and licenses digital content:

• Article Databases & Research Tools
• Online Journals
• Electronic Titles A-Z
• Digital Image Resources for Teaching and Research at UCSC

We also digitize materials held locally, making them available to the much wider audience than those who can visit in person.

• UCSC Library Digital Collections
• Online Archive of California, access to detailed descriptions of primary resource collections holdings, a project of CDL (UCSC's holdings)
• Internet Archive & the Open Content Alliance, UC holdings in the Internet Archive. Projects funded by Microsoft, the Internet Archive, and the Alfred Sloan Foundation.
• Google Books, a partnership of UC Libraries and Google Book Search Library Project to digitize books.
