The following periodical list is not exhaustive. Some of the titles may be searched on-line. Others are available in print. The list is a mix of periodicals focused on Africa and periodicals focused on popular culture.
Because paper topics may cut across many different disciplines, the database list of options is lengthy and is representative of the different disciplines. Select the databases most relevant to your topic. America History and Life (AHL) :
Historical coverage of the United States and Canada, from prehistory to
the present. Contains citations and abstracts for articles, book and
media reviews, and dissertations. The database also includes CLIO
Notes, which guides the user through chronologies and brief summaries
of significant events and themes in American history.
