The Feminist Studies Library at Kresge College was begun from a donation of Feminist Studies Professor Bettina Aptheker's library specializing in women's studies, multi-cultural women's history, lesbian studies, and African American history. It was augmented by a donation of Marge Frantz's library in U.S. women's history and U.S. labor history; the Lionel Cantu, Jr. Collection in sociology, masculinity, sexuality, and ethnic and queer studies; and additional donations from faculty and alumnae.
