In Washington, D. C., the Smithsonian Institution opened its "America on The Move" transportation exhibit, featuring F. A. Hihn's Santa Cruz Railroad engine, the Jupiter, and its tender. The Smithsonian Institution and the National Geographic Society have published a book entitled America on the Move, which is available in the UCSC Special Collections.
