The Hihn and Younger families are indelibly associated. Charles Bruce Younger Sr. (1831-1907) was Hihn's principal attorney and dean of the Santa Cruz legal community. The families were united by the marriage of Agnes Hihn, Therese and F. A. Hihn's youngest daughter, and Charles B. Younger Jr., only son of Jeannie Waddell Younger and Charles B. Younger Sr. Their descendants (all attorneys) include: Charles B. Younger Jr. (1873-1935), his wife: Agnes Hihn Younger (1874-1956), and their son: Donald Younger (1903-1976).
